Porsche Center Bergen

In Kokstad in Bergen, Norway's first Porsche center has been built according to the car brand's new design manual. The 3,700 m² building houses a new car showroom, workshop, warehouse, offices and changing rooms, and is a landmark building for both Porsche and the surrounding area.

IPOA has supplied steel structures to the project , which form a central part of the load-bearing system together with cast-in-place walls and hollow core slabs. The delivery has contributed to a building with high technical quality, tight progress and a clear architectural expression.

The facade combines large glass sections with metal cassettes in silver and dark gray, while the roof is covered with sedum and solar panels. The interior is designed according to Porsche's design manual, where all surfaces and details are carefully adapted to give the cars the right environment.

The project was developed by Gate Holding, designed by Pilot Arkitekter and built by Helgesen Tekniske Bygg (HTB) as the general contractor. Construction began in May 2021 and was completed in the summer of 2022.
