The gym in Harstad is closed.

Stangnes Turnhall in Harstad has now been completed and put into use. The project has given Harstad a modern multi-purpose hall of approximately 3,900 m², built as an extension to the existing Stangneshallen.

IPOA has supplied and installed the steel structures for the project. We always place extra value on contributing to buildings that provide activity, mastery and community – and Stangnes Turnhall is precisely a facility that will delight children and young people for many years to come.

An important contribution to the sports community

The new hall contains areas for gymnastics, martial arts, volleyball/gymnasium, dance and motor skills. In addition, changing rooms, a canteen, offices and common areas have been established that connect the existing and new buildings together.

With solid steel structures from IPOA, the building has gained the flexibility and load-bearing capacity to meet the high demands placed on a modern sports and activity facility.
