The building is certified with BREEAM-NOR Excellent and energy class A. It has a sedum roof with flower meadows, stormwater management, beehives and a solar cell system of approximately 3,000 m² that on good days can supply the entire building with electricity. 87 electric car chargers and eight truck chargers have been established, in addition to good bicycle parking.
IPOA (formerly through Metacon) has supplied both steel structures and stairs for the project. The delivery was a central part of the building's load-bearing system and contributed to the realization of a technically demanding combination building with high environmental ambitions.
The project was carried out as a turnkey contract by A Bygg Entreprenør and was handed over in August 2022. The building marks a new level for combination buildings in Norway, where functionality, architecture and sustainability go hand in hand.
