Frode Laursen – new BREEAM-certified logistics center in Östra Ljungby

In Östra Ljungby in southern Sweden, Frode Laursen is building a new, modern logistics center with a total area of up to 90,000 m². The first construction phase, of approximately 20,000 m², is scheduled to be completed in 2026.

The facility is being built according to Frode Laursen's sustainability concept Green Warehouse Vision II and is certified to BREEAM Very Good . The focus is on high productivity and reliable goods handling adapted to the requirements of both Nordic and international FMCG players.

As part of the initiative, the center will receive a number of green solutions:

  • Use of recycled steel and CO₂-neutral insulation

  • Installation of heat pumps and rainwater reuse

  • Solar panels on the roof and intelligent energy management

Frode Laursen already has around 700,000 m² of logistics centers in the Nordic region, but increasing demand means that the company is now investing in new, sustainable solutions for the grocery logistics of the future.
