Dock Hall Larsnes

IPOA delivered the steel structures for one of Norway's most modern and efficient dry docks. With a covered hall measuring 140 x 40 meters and a height of 31 meters above the quay level, the facility enables lightning-fast docking – with an emptying time of 1.25 hours and a filling time of 0.45 hours.

The dock is equipped with hydraulic side arms and keel cushions for maximum stability, and is surrounded by side halls with workshops and warehouses.

The shipyard at Larsnes – established in 1981 – is among the country's leading players in the construction of fishing and well boats. The new dock hall is an important step in the further development of capacity and efficiency at this traditional shipyard in Sande municipality in Sunnmøre.
