IPOA Champions Cup 2025 – A folk festival in Råde

On August 30-31, Råde Idrettspark was filled to the brim with children, parents and football joy as the IPOA Champions Cup 2025 got underway. The tournament, which has quickly grown to become one of Norway's five largest weekend cups for children, set a new record this year as well.

A growing cup

With a total of 440 teams registered – up from 200 in 2023 and 360 in 2024 – almost 900 matches were played over the weekend. Over 3,500 players aged 6–13 participated, and around 10,000 people made the trip to Råde to cheer, create life and experience the football party up close.

More than just football

The Champions Cup is more than just scores and matches – it is a public celebration for the entire local community. Over 300 players and managers stayed overnight at schools in the area, and the village was buzzing with activity, community and joy.

Team IPOA

One of the weekend's big highlights was the naming of this year's Team IPOA . The team received their own uniforms, were filmed throughout the cup and experienced a unique weekend that focused on unity, commitment and true sportsmanship.

Thank you for your effort.

We at IPOA would like to extend a big thank you to everyone who contributed to making this year's tournament a success – players, coaches, parents, siblings, grandparents, volunteers and, last but not least, the sponsors. Without you, this would not have been possible.

Thank you for this year – see you in 2026!
